Global Auto Salvage provides:
Vehicle valuation and purchasing services
Vehicle collection and removal services
Used car parts sales
DVLA notification and Certificate of Destruction services
Vehicle recycling as an Authorized Treatment Facility (ATF)
3. Eligibility
To use our services, you must:
Be at least 18 years of age
Be the legal owner of the vehicle or have authorization from the legal owner
Provide accurate and complete information
Have the legal right to sell or dispose of the vehicle
4. Vehicle Valuation and Purchase
4.1 Quotations
All quotations provided are estimates based on the information you provide. Final offers may be adjusted based on physical inspection of the vehicle.
4.2 Vehicle Condition
You must accurately describe the condition of your vehicle. Misrepresentation may result in adjustment or withdrawal of our offer.
4.3 Acceptance Criteria
We reserve the right to refuse to purchase any vehicle. Our current buying criteria include:
Vehicle model year requirements (currently 2010 and newer)
Vehicle condition and roadworthiness
Legal documentation and ownership verification
4.4 Payment
Payment is typically made at the time of collection. Payment methods include bank transfer, cash, or other agreed methods. You must provide valid identification and proof of ownership.
5. Vehicle Collection
5.1 Collection Service
We offer free vehicle collection services across our service areas. Collection times are subject to availability and scheduling.
5.2 Your Responsibilities
When we collect your vehicle, you must:
Provide all keys and vehicle documentation
Remove all personal belongings from the vehicle
Provide valid identification
Sign the necessary transfer documentation
5.3 Cancellation
You may cancel a collection appointment with reasonable notice. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in charges or inability to reschedule.
6. DVLA Notification and Documentation
We will:
Notify the DVLA of the vehicle transfer or destruction
Provide a Certificate of Destruction where applicable
Handle required paperwork in accordance with DVLA regulations
Important: While we handle the notification process, you remain responsible for ensuring your V5C logbook is properly completed and sent to DVLA.
7. Used Car Parts Sales
7.1 Product Information
Parts are sold as used and "as seen". We make reasonable efforts to accurately describe parts, but cannot guarantee perfect condition unless explicitly stated.
7.2 Warranty
Used parts are typically sold without warranty unless otherwise specified. Any warranties provided are limited to the terms stated at the time of sale.
7.3 Returns
Returns are subject to our returns policy as stated at the time of purchase and in accordance with UK consumer protection laws.
